The Turkish authorities intend to increase the number of diplomatic missions around the world. Their target is more than 2.5 hundred missions in the near future. A Turkish passport by investment is an excellent solution for removing visa restrictions, hiding the country of origin, and getting protection during travel.

With one of the largest diplomatic networks in the world, the Republic of Turkey is not going to stop there. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of this country intends to increase the number of foreign diplomatic missions to 255.

This jurisdiction has become one of the leading players in the global political arena due to the emphasis on a pragmatic and benevolent approach to building foreign policy relations. Thanks to numerous partners and diplomatic missions, Turkey does not leave citizens face to face with emerging problems anywhere in the world.

Turkey allows citizens to use the world’s fifth-largest diplomatic network, constantly expanding the number of embassies and consulates. Next in line is the opening of diplomatic missions in El Salvador and Guinea.

Turkish diplomatic missions are noticeable for their selfless work during periods of crisis, including recent events: the period after the pandemic announcement and the first months of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. In addition to helping citizens, diplomatic missions prioritize trade facilitation, tourism promotion, and health cooperation with host countries.

As part of the African Initiative, launched by the current Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the number of Turkish embassies on the respective continent increased from 12 in 2002 to 43 nowadays. As part of the New Asia Initiative, the number of Turkish embassies on the Asian continent has reached 30.

The Republic of Turkey strives for an inclusive, transparent, and accountable system for building a more productive and just world. In a similar context, Turkish diplomatic missions take on important tasks to ensure stability on the planet.

Thanks to an extensive diplomatic network, Turkey is the first to come to the aid of friendly countries in times of crisis, including natural disasters and wars. Its foreign policy approach is based on humanitarian values for solving global and regional problems.

Turkey evacuated more than 95 thousand citizens immediately after the COVID-19 pandemic announcement. Almost 15,000 Turkish citizens who decided to leave Ukraine after the events of spring 2022 have safely reached the country.

In addition, Turkey continues its efforts to expand the diplomatic network by opening new diplomatic missions around the world (especially in Latin America, Africa, and Asia). As the network of embassies and consulates expands, the country plans to develop economic, trade, and cultural ties on a global scale.

Such efforts are critical at a time when global uncertainty is rapidly growing, and humanity is facing new multifaceted challenges in many areas, from international security to the economy, global health and digital technologies.
