The pandemic has changed our lives globally, and we had to adapt. The countries adapted by closing the borders, imposing restrictions, and so on. However, it is in human nature to strive for freedom, and people started to look for ways of getting across the border. And it was the time when ordinary citizens who had never shown any interest in getting a second passport by participating in citizenship-by-investment programs suddenly saw how beneficial they are. As a result, the demand for getting an investment passport increased twice, but the future of the programs is uncertain.
